Here's how I made jelly doughnuts. This video is focused on the jelly filling, I have a separate video showing how I made the doughnuts themselves. You can make this filling with fresh or frozen raspberries. I used a Bismarck pastry tip to fill the doughnuts. I made the filling two ways and they pretty much taste the same. I liked the easy way the best!Homemade Yeast Doughnuts (my video showing how to make the doughnuts): Filling for Doughnuts (using raspberries)RaspberriesWaterSugarClear JelCook the raspberries until they fall apart, strain out the seeds, add some water to bring the berries to a juice consistency, sweeten to taste then add Clear Jel at a rate of 2 tbsp. per cup of liquid. Once the Clear Jel is completely dissolved, turn the stove on to medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thickened. Cool completely and fill the doughnuts.Raspberry Filling for Doughnuts (using store bought juice)1 cup cranberry raspberry juice1/4 cup sugar2 tbsp. Clear JelMix all ingredients well.
