ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION STORY: Madame Tussauds Hollywood unveiled an updated version of its Selena Gomez wax figure on Thursday (December 19). Previous versions of Gomez in wax could be seen in New York, Washington D.C. and London. For Madam Tussauds, it was a question of supply and demand. "She's been consistently in our top five, top ten most requested for a significant period of time, and so it's taken six months to create this figure at a cost of 300 thousand dollars and every single hair for example has been inserted individually. We've recreated the tattoo on her neck that Selena has, which are Roman numerals for the number 76 which is the year her mother was born," says Colin Thomas, the general manager for the Hollywood location. The new wax figure is wearing an exact replica of the Julien MacDonald beaded gold dress Gomez wore to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in April in Los Angeles. The 21-year-old actress and singer is best known as Justin Biebe
