Thousands of steps are necessary before organs can produce their unique sound, from sawing the parts for the console to pouring and tuning the pipes. For decades the Berlin based company Schuke has been building organs for grand concert halls and tiny churches around the world.Each of the hand-made instruments is made to order, because customers have their own ideas about how their organs should look, and more importantly, sound.
