"Ender's Game" outplayed all the others at U.S. and Canadian box offices over the weekend, collecting $28 million in its first three days. It's a futuristic story based on the best-selling 1985 novel about a young boy who is selected to undergo advanced warfare training because of his high IQ. Last weekend's comedy standout, "Bad Grandpa," starring Johnny Knoxville, seemed to lose some steam dropping to second at the box office, with $20.5 million in ticket sales. Behind them was "Last Vegas" which came in third in this weekend's competition -- it played a neat hand, cleaning up with $16.5 million, according to studio estimates. Its all-star cast includes Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline. They play four life-long friends who get together for a bachelor party.
