The first week of the trial of Major Nidal Hasan, the radicalized Army-psychiatrist accused of killing and wounding unarmed-soldiers in a shooting-spree in 2009, had much of the emotional detail and legal jarring observers expected from the military-trial.But one thing was glaringly missing: Hasan's cross-examination of witnesses. Hasan, who is representing himself, has only cross-examined one of the 44 witnesses called to the stand by prosecutors so far
