Preston, Esq. for a third Bill and Ted movie and now, thanks to Vulture, it's looking like we may seem them on the big screen soon.According to the site, director Dean Parisot has been hired to helm the project. Parisot is best known for directing the cult classic Galaxy Quest starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman among many others. There is no start date set for Bill and Ted 3 yet as Parisot is currently in pre-production on Red 2, a sequel to the 2010 action comedy starring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich as retired black-ops agents.Bill and Ted 3 was written by original creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson on spec in the hopes of getting the sequel made and avoid the studios current trend of rebooting old franchises. They are currently shopping the project around to studios to co-finance the film with MGM, who owns the rights..Not much is known about the plot other than it will focus on Bill and Ted in the present day and explore how their lives have changed (or haven't) in the past twenty plus years. So are you excited to see Reeves and Winter reprise their roles for a third film and what excellent or bogus adventures do you think they are in store for?
