Three Chief Ministers have written to the Prime Minister asking him to start immediate consultations with all the states on the National Counter Terrorism Centre proposal. Calling the idea unilateral and hasty, Jayalalithaa, Naveen Patnaik and Nitish Kumar have reminded the centre that law and police are state subjects.
