In September of 2010, Televised Revolution made the jump from a weekly radio show on Triple Zed in Brisbane to a weekly podcast-exclusive show. When this happened, we rebooted our numbering and started anew. At the time, it was very fresh and exciting, but almost a year on it just looks downright funny. It’s difficult to explain to people that we’ve been doing the show for longer than a year when they note we’re only up to 50+ podcasts.

From this week, we’re embracing the Televised Revolution heritage by renumbering. We’ve combined the totals from both volumes of the podcast and we’re pressing forth. Hence, this week is actually episode 189.

This week our panel of Dan Barrett, Simon Band, and Dennis Dugandzic discuss:

eSports with guest Luke Miller. The 100th birthday of Lucille Ball.Question marks over Austar customer contracts.Sunrise embraces Google+ hangouts. Is David Leckie set to move on from his role at Channel 7?Channel 10 opts not to go ahead with the ARIA awards .

We also run through the usual segments Love It Or Hate It and provide some TV Highlights.

As always, we look forward to receiving your mail and check us out on the Twitter / Facebook. You can also find the podcast on iTunes (please leave us a review, it helps people find the show).
